Apples: Dirty Dozen Plus or Clean Fifteen?

The EWG has just updated its Dirty Dozen & Clean Fifteen list! The Dirty Dozen is now the DIRTY DOZEN PLUSTM

The Environmental Working Group (EWG) is the go-to resource for the now-famous Dirty Dozen & Clean Fifteen fruits and vegetables. They show which you should (MUST) buy organically to avoid high pesticides, and which have the lowest, even if you choose not to buy organically.

Don’t forget to sign up on their website or download their app to your tablet or smartphone in order to get their updates first-hand. You can download a PDF version of the most current guide as well. You’ll also receive EWG’s exclusive email updates, action alerts and environmental tips.

You can also find all 48 fruits and vegetables with data ranked from worst to best. They analyzed pesticide residue testing data from the U.S. Department of Agriculture and Food and Drug Administration to come up with the rankings.

I hope you found this post useful!

Peace, Love, & (Organic) Veggies!
