Tomatoes Are In, Mulch Is Down!

Our tomatoes are in and we have laid the mulch down.

It looks SO pretty!

By the way, the best place to get organic compost/mulch in San Diego is at City Farmers Nursery

Enjoy!

Mini Blog – Where Borage Doesn’t Grow, Hornworms Do

This hornworm was found on a backyard tomato plant yesterday.

Our front yard plants, surrounded by borage, are not affected. Only my laziness in not planting borage in back brought the moths in. We had been hornworm free for 3 years since applying companion planting techniques :)

Photo also stars my grandson. We spent all late afternoon worm hunting. Good times!
